Mixcraft 6 from Acoustica is a full-featured music creation application for Windows. It provides a complete tool set for recording and editing multiple audio and MIDI tracks, arranging loops, composing with virtual instruments, scoring and editing video, adding effects, and mixing down multitrack projects.

The software records and plays back audio at up to 32-bit, 192 kHz resolution, and supports WAV, AIF, OGG, WMA, MP3, and standard MIDI file formats. Features include eleven virtual instruments, twenty-two effects, plug-in delay compensation, tempo detection, time-stretching and pitch shifting, along with many others.

Version 6 offers new additions and enhancements, including an upgraded sound library, several new instruments and effects plug-ins, a redesigned mixer interface, improvements to the video interface, and ReWire hosting capability and notation enhancements. Additionally, VST instruments with unlimited outputs are now supported, while numerous MIDI improvements have also been added.

Recording and editing highlights include punch-in/out recording, loop recording, a "Lanes" feature for stacking multiple clips on one track, sub-mixing of tracks, a guitar tuner on every track, saving and loading effects chains, reversing and inverting phase on audio tracks, inserting and removing time, and drum mapping.
