The LinkStation Pro Duo Network Hard Drive Array Enclosure (Diskless) from Buffalo is a high performance RAID network storage device, perfect for use in home and small business networks. It comes equipped with a host of features that allow you to store, share, serve and protect your important data. The LinkStation Pro Duo Enclosure allows you to back up multiple PCs and Mac computers simultaneously. Enjoy uninterrupted access to 2/4/6 TB of storage (depending on the hard drives you use with this enclosure) on your network and even over the Internet while away from home.

Twice as fast as a standard NAS, the LinkStation Pro Duo Enclosure features a high-speed, 1.6 GHz processor with maximum transfer speeds of up to 72 MBps. You just need to plug it into any network Ethernet port or into the back of your wireless router and access it on any networked device in your house. The LinkStation Pro Duo Enclosure comes with a built-in BitTorrent client, a DLNA certified media server and an iTunes server that enables effort-free downloading and streaming your favorite movies, photos, music and more.

Secure Central Storage
With 2/4/6 TB of storage (depending on the hard drives you use with this enclosure), the LinkStation Pro Duo Enclosure provides you a reliable, central location to store and protect all data from every PC and Mac computer, tablet device and smartphone in your home or small office. You can store, access and share files from anywhere over your wireless network at speeds up to twice as fast as a standard USB hard drive.
Automatic Data Protection
The LinkStation Pro Duo Enclosure can hold two hard drives (sold separately) and it supports RAID 0/1 for maximum capacity or redundant data protection. RAID 0 combines all drives into a single array offering maximum capacity with no redundancy. RAID 1 mirrors the two drives, creating an exact copy of data for fault tolerance.
Exceptional Performance
Equipped with a high performance 1.6 GHz processor and DDR3 RAM, the LinkStation Pro Duo Enclosure offers much more than a simple home shared storage solution. This network storage device boasts transfer speeds up to 72 MBps, nearly twice as fast as a standard USB drive.
Free Personal Cloud Service
While on the go, Buffalo's free WebAccess service allows you to create a personal cloud for easy remote access and file sharing with anyone, anywhere over the Internet. While your data remains securely stored in one place on your home network, you can access it quickly from any computer, tablet or smartphone device over the Internet. Sharing is as easy as sending a link to your friends and family. They can securely access only the files you've selected for them to see. For enhanced access on your iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and Android devices, you can download Buffalo's free WebAccess mobile apps such as WebAccess i for iPhone and iPod touch, WebAccess i HD for iPad and WebAccess A for Android.
LinkStation NAS System
The LinkStation Pro Duo Enclosure runs on Buffalo's LinkStation NAS System, providing a host of useful features from network file sharing and security to RAID management, remote access and more. LinkStation NAS System simplifies your everyday data needs.
Stream Your Favorite Media
The LinkStation Pro Duo Enclosure is DLNA certified. It also supports Squeezebox and can be used as an iTunes server to stream your favorite music, movies and shows to multiple devices simultaneously. You can relax and watch movies on your big screen TV while music is pumped outdoors by the pool. You can also centralize your media files for simple sharing and streaming.
Easy Scheduled Backup
The LinkStation Pro Duo Enclosure features NovaBACKUP Professional for Windows and Time Machine support for Mac, which provides reliable home data backup. Disaster and hard drive failures can occur unexpectedly. You can schedule backups for every computer in your house and easily protect your data.
