The black X-E1 Mirrorless Digital Camera from Fujifilm features a classic form factor, magnesium alloy build and completely state-of-the-art digital technology. The sensor on the X-E1 is Fujifilm's 16.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor and the image processor is the EXR Processor Pro. The APS-C-sized X-Trans utilizes a unique color filter pixel array that eliminates a low pass filter and reduces moiré and false colors, resulting in exceptionally true-to-life color images, low noise and high resolution that other sensors with optical low-pass filters cannot approach. How does the view finder work with a manual Leica M Lens. I assume the electronic view finder looks through the lens. Since a 1970's Sumicron Lens has manual f stops will the view finder darken as I stop down the lens?
The viewfinder acts like a tiny television. It shows exactly what the image will look like. It wil compensate and lighten up if you are using the camera in program, aperture or shutter speed priority. The only change is in depth of field. The VF will darken or become lighter if you use exposure compensation though. In Manual mode you can select if you want the VF to show the real exposure or if you want is to be optimized for viewing (very handy for studio lights). Leica M lenses work by stop down exposure.
