Purchased this softbox for use with dual-speedlight setup for quick location headshot sessions or studio strobes for more involved portrait shoots. With speedlights, this softbox gives a great light, and I have been very happy with the results obtained. Construction appears sturdy and well-built, and has held up well thus far. Great value for the price!

In preparation for a week long shoot that would take me to multiple cities in two states I was looking for a collapsible beauty dish in lieu traveling of my standard beauty dish. Not confident of the ability of the currently available collapsible beauty dishes, I purchased the 36 Impact Luxbanx Duo Small Octo Softbox and could not be more pleased. The box, with grid, was very cost effective. The build quality is surprisingly good and the quality of light is far better than I expected. The box is constructed with a heavy weight fabric and a textured silver interior. Velcro flaps are built into the several places to allow ventilation when used with hot lights. This is a very nice modifier and after a week of using it on the road in some very difficult environments, I see it being part of my standard kit and getting a lot more use for many years to come. I would not hesitate to buy this or another modifier in the Luxbanx family.

Works just fine. The grid was included and also worked fine. I'm wondering why it is made from a canvas-like material instead of the ripstock materials most boxes are made of. It is rather heavy on the front of my Norman lamps.

I bought this softbox and in the first photo session was broken. The inner baffle attachment is very poor. This is the second time that I have the same situation. I don't recommend this product!

will this fit elinchrom speed rings?

While the Elinchrom speed rings are not compatible with the Impact Luxbanx Duo Small Octagonal Softbox (36 ), as the rods of the Elinchrom octangonal softboxes are larger than most universal softbox rods, the Impact Speed Ring for Elinchrom, Impact EX, B&H # IMSRELI, would work with the softbox, and would be compatible with Elinchrom studio strobes.

Hi what ever light system you use .... you need to make sure that there is a brace or bracket that can keep it on the light ring . It is very front heavy I tend to put a small pic stand on the side with a clamp to keep it from tipping forward .There is a spring bracket available....I dont have a name handy

Will this attach to a Westcott Spiderlite TD6?

It won't fit the Spiderlite. This octobox uses wire supports that fit into the three lug attachment compatible with Impact strobes. I'm not sure how you attach soft boxes to the spiderlite...I don't see any info about attaching soft boxes to their gear.
