The Marani DPA880 8x8 Pro Digital Matrix and Feedback Eliminator is a 1 unit rack mountable signal processing matrix designed for conference systems. The device allows you to route any combination of 8 inputs into any combination of 8 outputs. Each input can be either a line level or microphone signal with optional +48V phantom power. The unit includes a variety of signal processing tools such as an RMS compressor, a peak limiter, a 5-band graphic equalizer, high and low shelving filters, high and low band pass filters, a feedback destroyer, and a digital delay. You can control the unit via USB, RS485, and wall remote controls. To expand your signal routing options, up to 32 Matrix Units can be connected together.
For dynamic processing, the unit includes an RMS compressor on each channel output
To prevent clipping, the unit includes a peak limiter on each channel output
Hi/Low Shelf Filtering
The device includes high and low shelf filtering of each channel ranging from -15 dB up to +15 dB in gain
High Pass and Low Pass Filters
The device includes high and low pass filters up to 24 dB/octave
To manage feedback, the unit utilizes a pitch shifting feedback destroyer algorithm that is especially useful for vocal performances
The device includes a digital delay so that you can time align different speakers placed within a room.
So you can save your preferred signal processing and matrix routing parameters, the unit includes 6 programmable preset buttons
Displays and Indicator Lights
The unit's presets are displayed on a 2 x 24 character LCD and each of the 8 inputs is correlated to a row of 5 LEDS that indicate line, microphone, feedback, signal/clip, or limiter settings
Master Input Gain and Output Level
A master input gain and master output level allows you to control the level of all the inputs and outputs at once.
The device can be controlled via USB connection with the available PC software remote control. It can also be controlled via RS485 connection with the PC software remote control configured for operation through the net or via a wall panel remote control. Both the wall control and the USB control can operate simultaneously.
