It is optically just as good as my Zuiko 30 mm Macro and gives me far more distance from the usually skittish subjects (some of which may get actually mad and sting! ).

I purchased the Olympus ED 60mm f/2.8 macro lens for my new Olympus OM-D10. It is a small lens but has large capabilities. I am very impressed with its versatility and sharpness. I bought it specifically for macro work and, so far, I am pleased with the results.

Very well built lens, and has a convenient range adjustment for when you are switching between closeup and normal photography. This lens does a good job as a backup portrait lens, in addition to being fantastic macro lens. I had a Nikkor 105mm macro that was very slow at focusing. This lens is much quicker, and works fantastic with the focus stacking on many Olympus bodies. Great addition to my lens lineup.

So far so good.

It's my first lens by Olympus so I don't have anything else to compare it to that they make. It's plasticky, it's also versatile. I'm not fond of the limiter dial on the side really. But the images I have taken with it so far are sharp. I use it on the EM1 mark iii. It unlocks certain features that can only be used in conjunction with an Olympus lens.

Can I use the TC 2.0X with the 60mm Macro?
Asked by: Jaf
The lens gives you 1:1 magnification with a minimal focus distance of 7 1/2 inches. I have not used a teleconverter with the lens. I think you could use it to increase the focal length. The sensor is micro fourth third, that would make the effective focal length of the lens at 120 mm.

question

Is the warranty worldwide or only valid in US?
Asked by: Anonymous
The lens comes with a 1-year Olympus USA warranty. For customers taking it outside the United States, please check with the manufacturer locally, to see if they will honor the USA warranty. This is entirely up to the discretion of the manufacture in question and out of the control of B&H.
