Sirui L10 Reviews
Answers a need
I have a Sirui mono pod with 360 degree rotation. This head adds the up/down stability lacking with my ball head. No more unpredictable flip flops when you loosen the knobs.
Not very much Accurate
I have had this head for more than 4 years not very accurate for rotation like a panorama. Just good to hold it with one angle. After-sales service of Sirui is very bad and doesn't care about customer questions and requirements. It is better to pay more from RRS: very accurate last ever and fantastic after-sales services.
Love this
This is exactly what I needed to stop the shake of holding my heavy Nikon and Sigma 150-600 above my shoulders. The full tilt allows you to tuck the monopod under the lens and is very easy to carry.
Lens Plate Attachment is Faulty
No matter how tight I attach the lens plate to my Sony 4500 mm lens, the lens always slips and turns on the Tilt/Pan Head.
Great Value and Well Built Head.
A solid and well built monopod head. I wanted a second monopod for sports photography. This was perfect for my Canon EF 100-400 f4.5-5.6 v2 and EF 300 f2.8. I probably would not use with a 600 or 800mm lens. My original head is a Really Right Stuff monopod head. I still use for a EF 500 & 600mm F4. The Siri L-10 is half the price of the Really Right Stuff and built very solid. The size is approx. 10-15 smaller than the RRS head.
Great
Fits all arca plates i have tried. Sturdy and well built for super-telephoto lenses. Probably overkill for anything smaller.
Well made.
Be aware that there is no built-in pan axis...which is ok if you use it with the Sirui monopod it's designed for, that has a pan axis in it. Nice that it's Arca Swiss compatible top and bottom.
Works great and I have the L-bracket solution.
An easy fix to use your L-bracket is to affix an Arca Swiss type clamp to the provided quick release plate at 90. Insert the plate into the tilt head clamp and tighten. problem solved. Tried to insert photos but they wouldn't upload.
