The case damaged at lease one of the filters with what looks like grease stains. There was a fiber paper protection included in the box however it was not wrapped around the outside of the filter. The sheets of material to put in between the filters were just rolled up in the center.

The main reason to buy this kit is the bag, it's worth the price alone to organize gels. The gels are nothing special, but it is nice they're each marked with a sticker designating the diffusion intensity and style. Again, I could do this on my own with cheaper gels, but the folio bag makes it well worth the cost.

this is a neat little kit that rolls up nicely and fits into our tightly packed travel gear. easy and fast to find and get it on and go. Works well for our tiny crew under tight schedules--we don't get a gaffer who can think just about lights. Wish it came with some of the basic colored gels too but I can add that to the roll. not the most affordable way to go with gels but it's all organized when you need to go fast.

Gels were stained with oil, but still do their thing

The top and bottom diffusion gels came stained with oil (probably from the bag), but still work and doesnt seem to have an effect on how they diffuse light.  Good variety of diffusion. Gels are a little uneven, but havent had any problem skinning them to 18 x 24 frames.

case damages gels

The case damaged some of the gels by grease staining them. It looks like the fabric had some light oil or something on it. Anyway it interferes with the gel. This also makes the case useless.

Will these work with fluorescent light kits that use 32w bulbs?

Yes they diffusion gels can work with any continuous light as long as there is sufficient air space between the light and gel.
