It offers 128 MB of graphics memory and full DualHead support for using two digital/analog monitors at high resolution and pristine image quality. With 9.5 W of power consumption, this card delivers the lowest power multi-monitor graphics. The combination of ultra-low power consumption, fanless cooling, 2D image quality and unified driver makes the P690 Graphics Display Card ideal for a wide range of professional applications such as financial, enterprise and government systems as well as embedded computers, digital audio workstations and digital signage. It provides reliability and stability making it the ultimate choice for use in long-life environments.
Expanded Multi-Display Options
You can set two digital or analog monitors as one large desktop, or at independent resolutions and display orientations. Moreover, you can upgrade the P690 Graphics Display Card to drive up to four analog monitors, or place two cards in your system to support four DVI displays.
The P690 Graphics Display Card allows you to easily roll out DualHead configurations and then upgrade to four-monitor support by simply changing a cable without the need to open the system chassis or upgrade display drivers. You can use the customizable unattended installation package to deploy and maintain multiple systems.
Proven and Mature Driver Software
The unified display driver architecture ensures one driver package can be used to manage other Matrox products of P-Series, G-Series, QID Series, MMS Series, Parhelia Series and Extio Series.
Ultra-Low Power Consumption and Passive Cooling
The P690 Graphics Display Card's fanless design eliminates noise, enhances product reliability and improves system compatibility. It has high MTBF, providing a stable and reliable, hardware and software solution, while substantially decreasing power consumption across your entire installed base.
The card allows you to increase productivity by stacking or pivoting individual monitors. You can enjoy more screen real estate as a result of support for wide-screen and stretched resolutions for up to 1920 x 1200 (DVI).
Pair Cards to Increase Number of Displays
You can use PowerDesk joined-graphics-card mode* to drive either four DVI or eight analog displays.
*With joined graphics card mode, some DualHead graphics cards can be joined with a 2nd compliant DualHead or TripleHead graphics card to drive up to 4 displays. In this mode, compliant TripleHead graphics cards are supported in DualHead mode only. Joined graphics card mode multi-display configurations can be obtained by downloading Matrox PowerDesk-SE version 2.04 display driver & above.
Your Desktop Displayed Your Way
