Ten One Design T1-PGCT-302 overview

  • 1Description

The Pogo Connect 2 Bluetooth Stylus for All iPad Models from Ten One Design isn't your average stylus pen -- it's Bluetooth enabled, and allows you to draw lines with many different widths on your iPad. It's easy to set up and works with many drawing and note-taking apps.

At the center of the stylus is the patent-pending Crescendo Sensor. This highly sensitive sensor features 0 grams of activation, works at all angles, doesn't need any calibrating, and has hundreds of levels of pressure. It doesn't have any moving parts for reliability.

Another useful feature of the Pogo Connect is that it's engineered to help apps ignore your palm. Compatible apps will let you rest your hand anywhere and respond just to the tip of the pen. This is ideal for handwriting. And finally, the tip of the Pogo Connect attaches magnetically, so it's easy to replace when you need to switch it out.

The stylus is powered by a single AAA battery, which can last for months. Plus, the stylus is able to transmit a signal that lets you track its location. This way, you can easily use your iPhone or iPad to display your estimated distance to the pen. The distance information is displayed in radar-style view, so it's easy to find in case it gets lost.

    Ten One Design T1-PGCT-302 reviews

Pogo Connect 2 Bluetooth Stylus for All iPad Models is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok, but needs more app support The problem with any of these styli is that if you want the features (palm rejection, short-cut undo or color change, etc.) it requires two to tango. Sure, the pogo connect has some potential... but until the major apps start supporting it (and they test that support thoroughly) it's just another stylus. FYI to put into perspective, I am not an artist. I am a business person using the sylus for note-taking. I use Outline+ to take notes and sync to OneNote, and Outline+ doesn't yet support pogoconnect. Also, I use GoodNote which does support it, but it's still imperfect. It needs more testing, especially around the palm rejection. I can't speak for how it works with artist geared apps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from self locating super stylus The best thing about this stylus is the software that is available for it. Supported by a lot of the best art/drawing products this device has one very cool trick up its sleeve. It can be found anytime through the use of the Radar app from POGO. It's more of a You're getting hotter/colder location system but it works very well. The stylus is pressure sensitive and very responsive. Bluetooth enabled, this really is the final tool for writing, working and drawing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pressure sensitive stylus for iPad This seems to be the best we can get from a pressure sensitive ipad pen. It seems that the remaing issues I have with stylus products are with the ipad itself. PRO:-This one pairs very easily-Tip really gives the pen a nice feel on the glass, no too slippery.- Good pressure sensitivity.- Good build quality.CON / Issues with ipad integration- pair / undo button is constantly pressed by mistake. I can turn off its functionality in PAPER app, but i feel like it is messing with pairing from hitting it a lot.- Need better wrist/ hand detection so that you dont need to draw with a glove.- Would love the tip to be smaller (i know its an issue with the ipad )Overall this is a great little pen, like I said I would love it if all apps could stop being fouled up by my wrist/ side of hand touching. And I would love a thinner tip.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Joy to Use This is the only pressure sensitive pen I used on the iPad so far. Reading lots of review online, it seems like the alternative Jaja has the best pressure sensitive experience. But I settled for this Pogo Connect because:- The use of microphone rather than Bluetooth makes Jaja compatible with all iOS devices but could have a problem in noisy environment- Among BHPhoto&Video, *, *, *, none of them is selling the Jaja. I don't know why but it seems to me that Pogo has a much better distribution channel which looks more like a well established company than the one selling Jaja- I think Pogo Connect has the most supported apps in the app store. None of the competitors even come close to it- Pogo Connect is cheaper (at least for the price I have in BHPhoto&Video)The only one thing I want it to improve is to release a new head that is at least equally good as the Jaja's.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty darn good A little clunky compared to my Cintiq but overall a good start for a pressure sensitive stylus. $ for a pressure sensitive stylus vs. $ for a regular one. Plus, with Procreate the button works as undo. Some reviews state that the button is kind of in the way and I would agree it could have been located somewhere else or made smaller. I would still recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The right tool This stylus is very useful, well made and effective. I use it on the ipad and the ipod touch. Especially useful on the ipod as I have large fingers and have had much difficulty using the tiny keyboard. Works nicely as a sketching tool and just about everything else. I like it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unsatisfactory I bought the product to take notes in hand on an app that converts to text. The tip is too fat to be of much use. I would not recommend it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what it's cracked up to be For drawing it is not a thin enough line and was spotty working sometimes and another.
