Rokinon 85mm T1.5 Cine Overview

The Rokinon 85mm T1.5 Cine Lens for Sony E produces a slightly telephoto angle-of-view on full-frame sensors. It features a very fast maximum aperture of T1.5 and an eight-blade iris for shallow depth of field with attractive bokeh. The focus and aperture control rings are outfitted with industry standard gearing, which provides an interface for working with a traditional follow focus. The aperture control ring has also been de-clicked, which facilitates smooth iris pulls.

The 85mm has a minimum focus distance of 3.6'. Internal focusing minimizes the effects of lens breathing, which insures a more consistent angle-of-view when adjusting focus. The lens is composed of nine elements in seven groups, including one aspherical element to reduce spherical aberrations. In addition, multi-coated elements help improve light transmission.

Where can I buy a new lens cap? Is it just a 72mm lens cap?

Unfortunately, we do not have replacement Rokinon caps. However, we have perfectly good generic snap-on caps that will do the job. Here is one. that is the correct 72mm size. Sensei 72mm Center Pinch Snap-On Lens Cap B&H # SELC72.

YES. you will get a crop fator but works fine. It will look more liked a 100mm on the apsc sensor. It is also totally manual, no auto focus or ris. .

I have a Sony A7ii (not s ). I have this lens with the E attachment and works fine, however the autofocus is not working (you have to adjust the focus manually). For the price it si good.
