The DMX capable EB1812P Electronic Ballast for Alpha 18K HMI lamp heads from K5600 uses power components that can be exchanged in a few minutes, ensuring your equipment is always ready for use. The ballast is capable of operating any lamp in the range 6kW through to 18kW and 300Hz operation comes as standard. For high speed shooting the EB1812P employs Autoscan technology that automatically finds the frequency for the most stable output from 300 - 1,000Hz, thus preventing acoustic resonance in the lamp.

The power circuits have been designed to tolerate huge voltage fluctuations to keep the product running under the harshest of power supply conditions.
