Better than expected

I ordered these after seeing an associate's similar manfroto stands. While not quite as refined looking as the manfroto's they are just as sturdy and less than half the price. Solid value, I'll be buying more.

This boom stand worked great on a film trip to Switzerland. It's the perfect stand for a compact travel kit. I would highly recommend it.

Not bad for its price.

It bends together with the load, sometimes it seems that it is about to break. But it's working fine so far, plus it's easy to move.

Only thing it didn't come with was a clip to add the counterweight. Is that an error? How do I get that clip?

Heavy, sturdy, effective.

This stand is great for lights as well as for mics. Works very well with a shotgun microphone and a seated talent. It is heavier than I thought and needs a sand bag for the legs. I'll use it for years to come.

Combo stand in disguise

This purchase was a happy accident. I thought I was buying a light stand and boom arm. To my surprise this light stand folds outward to then become a stand with a boom arm, making it much more versatile than imagined. Love it and will add more in the near future.

question

What are the maximum and minimum inclinations of this boom? I heard that it can support a maximum of 0.9kg at 6 inclination, can anyone explain this further? Thanks!
Asked by: Yi Fan C.
The stand can go 90-0 degrees. At 6 degrees which is almost horizontal and completely extended you cannot put more than 4.4 lbs of equipment on the boom. I also with most booms suggest using a sand bag on the bottom leg to help prevent it from falling over.

At it's minimum height of 45 inches, this stand is too tall to fit into my travel bags. Will the top sections of the stand pull out from the base to make it more compact for travel, or are they fixed in the central column?

Please review the following case that will accommodate both the stand and light shaping tools. The lateral arm is capped to prevent it from coming out. Impact LKB-RCS Light Kit Bag Rolling C-Stand Case (Black) BH #IMLKBRCS • MFR #LKB-RCS https://bhpho.to/3tqeXAm
