With AJA's HD/SD 8-Channel AES Embedder/Disembedder you can convert audio from an SDI stream into 8 channels of AES audio or vice-versa. To keep the form factor compact, AES outputs are provided via an included breakout cable with XLR connections. Audion input over AES connections are converted to 48 kHz to ensure compatibility. Incoming SDI signals are passed through the converter and output through dual mirrored outputs. For extra control of functionality within the converter itself, dip switches are provided.
