Rated 5 out of 5 by from strong and secure I use these on my lightstands to mount on-cam lights that have feet for these shoes. I also designed a functional on-cam dual Sennheiser EW series receiver T-mounts (that mounts vertically so antenna stands upright, not horizontal) for my Sony cams. These are fine, high quality accessory shoes that are expensive but rest assure, they will pay off down the line.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great when modified It's good for proprietary speedlights like Nikon's if you drill a small hole in the shoe to fit the locking pin. Otherwise the flash is not securly fastened and can slip off. The bottom of the flash is plastic so the pins in the flash will not short circuit which is great. For older flashes, like Nikon SB24/25/26/28, that doesn't have a locking pin there are better options that will hold the flash better. I favor the Stroboframe shoe for that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bought this mount six times I have now six of these flash shoes, and while they do the expected job well, you should be aware of sample variations: two of them do no fit on my Nikon SB 900, while the other four work well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Both sides now. There are two sized screws on the screw piece, small and big. It worked!!! Been working on this camera system for a year. All I need now is a lens cap for Yashica Mat 124 G. Anyone??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Metal! There are no electronics in this piece so it holds any brand flash with a hot-shoe style attachment. This thing is all metal and seems to be perfect for holding even heavy flashes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it says It's an easy way to attach a flash to a tripod. A bit over-priced, in my opinion, but well made and trivial to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great The shoe works perfectly with my Pentax flash when mounted on the tripod. Helps make wireless flash a joy to use.
