Works as it should, the only drawback for me is that the hood has to be screwed into the monitor via the 1/4-20 screws on the top and sides; which means when using the hood the monitor can only be mounted using the mount on the bottom. Using the screws make the hood very secure but also causes it take longer than necessary to remove compared to others I've used.

True. It is not clip-on or magnetic, yet the monitor Can be mounted with Any of the 4 - 1/4-20 taps; just remove the appropriate screw from the shade. The monitor itself is 5-Star Excellent!
