Great piece of gear for any pro and semi-pro photographer. Initially a bit costly but worth the money for anyone in the industry. And Profoto holds its value if you decide to re-sell.

    Top Quality Softbox

I bought other softboxes for a photo session and had many problems with all of them because of the quality. Profoto doesn't disappoint. Top quality material and construction. Stunning soft light. Yes, they are more expensive but you will not regret it. I was concern about how difficult it was going to be to assemble on location in comparison with rapidboxes. It takes 1 or 2 minutes more; that's it. Another advantage of this softbox is that it can be used with hot lights. No all softboxes can withstand extreme heat.

    Profoto RFI 2x3 Rectangular Softbox

Received the softbox and set it up in just a few minutes. Very nice, durable quality and good fit with speedring. I got the RFI speedlite speedring that holds tow 600 EX-RT speedlites and they work fantastic. Also, ordered the 50 degree grid and what a difference it makes. Took a few test shots and you can see the visible difference in control of the soft light. Like to get the 2x2 square softbox next. I thought the 2x3 would give me so leeway on waist to head shots better than the square one. Buy a Profoto softbox. You will love it!

    Nice Softbox, Very Well Made

Typical quality I would expect from Profoto. I use this with my Profoto Speedlight mount and also with Alien Bees with an adapter ring for the Alien Bees. I have the grid and from disused and they are very well done too.

    Solid Little Softbox

Got this to replace an old Plume Wafer 100. Seems like a solid box, the light is a bit contraster then from the plume, but this is a slighting smaller unit. Manufacturing is so good now that you really can't go wrong with any of these high end boxes. I'm stoke to use the light tools 40degree grid with it.

    No complaints

I use this softbox for location portraits. It's easy to setup, and helps put out nice light. It's well made appears to be pretty sturdy. If I had any complaints, they would be minor. Like sometimes a rod won't stay secured into its pouch. (This is from transporting the softbox and taking it out of the pouch.) It gets annoying when Im on location and need to remove the diffuser to access them. It doesn't take long and I won't gig them a star. Also, the back panel won't completely cover the Chimera quick release speedring I have for it. You have to finagle it around and over/under the retention levers. It's not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind if you're looking for this combo. All in all, I'd recommend it.

The RFi are traditional softboxes they collapse, but not like a umbrella. You have to disassemble the rods from the ring.
