    This thing is a beast!

Huge soft box. I was nervous about assembly but did it all by myself. I am 5'4 and it is bigger than me! Full length portraits now a breeze! When I first assembled, two of the poles were inserted in wrong hole so it was lopsided!

Good Quality, but what you come to expect from Profoto. This is a massive tent. Even knowing it was 4x6, its a big tent. Be sure you have the space.

    Large Softbox

Large softbox, diffuses light evenly over a large space, works as expected. I is a little difficult to setup due to its size and also requires a lot of counterweight to keep the stand upright.

What a beast! Huge light source with amazing impact. First use was full-length portrait of couple on a motorcycle, and it fully lit them beautifully from head to toe. Definitely makes an impression on the set, too. People know you mean business with this enormous softbox! I recently ordered the grid, making this a four figure modifier. I'm hoping to leverage that into some amazing photos that really set me apart.

This softbox is amazing. I absolutely love it. Caution it is VERY large and deep. However it shapes light wonderfully. It is exactly what is says it is. Very Durable and lightweight for its size.

Will the Profoto 4x6 softbox work with the B10?

Will the Profoto 4x6 softbox work with the B10?
    Asked by: Doris
I have been told by both ProFoto reps and educators that no it won't work with the B10, B10+, or B2's because it's too heavy and will pull down on the light and the mounting bracket can't hold it up. I was told that the B1 and B1X will work fine though.

    question

Hello! What Stand model do you recommend for this softbox?
    Asked by: Miguel
Generally, the correct choice of light stand would be based on the type of flash head being mounted into the softbox, as this is where the stand adapter would be. However, a very strong option in a light stand would be the Manfrotto Alu Master Air-Cushioned Stand (Black, 12') B&H # MA1004BAC. Please see the image below for reference.

    question

I have Profoto B1 lights. Will this softbox work with them out of the box, or do I still need to purchase a speedring separately?
    Asked by: Brian G.
Still need to purchase the RFI speedring.

    question

This soft box appears to be a flush-front as opposed to a recessed-front. I just want to confirm that?
    Asked by: elaine
There is enough room for a grid to be added. about an inch.
