We use the AJA distribution amp for our broadcast operation in order to get a clean video signal over to our Announcer's monitor during live games. I have had this cable fritz out on me twice now; and I'm not surprised. The quality of this product feels UNBELIEVABLY cheap. Asking $65 for this chunk of dollar store plastic is criminal. Giving two stars because the product does technically work for a month or so before it breaks.
The part i needed at a reasonable price.
Fits perfectly. WOrks great. Its a little expensive for the part due to the Aja connector.
This power supply is excellent because it can be locked to the device like a BNC connector, you don't worry about it
I want to start off by saying I really like the AJA mini converters. I have a HD10AMA, 3GAMA, and a couple 3GDA units. Despite having all my equipment plugged into clean power, I've had 3 or 4 of these power supplies go bad on me in the last 6 years. Each time they've thankfully been covered under AJA's excellent 5 year warranty, but it's somewhat of a hassle to have to go through the RMA process and wait for a replacement. Hence, I have bought 3 extra power supplies so in case of another failure I can hopefully be back up very quickly. At $59/unit, I wish these proprietary power supplies were more reliable.
This product is exactly what I needed for the power supply that failed. Thanks for sending it.
