  • 1Description

The 24-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch from D-Link comes equipped with 24 Gigabit speed auto MDI/MDIX ports. Take advantage of full/half-duplex for Ethernet/Fast Ethernet speeds and 9,600 bytes jumbo frames. This energy efficient desktop switch comes with a variety of green features including D-Link Green Ethernet Technology, link status detection to reduce power usage, cable length detection, 802.3az EEE hardware implementation, and RoHS compliance. With a fanless design and plug-and-play installation this quiet switch is easy to setup and install.

Gigabit on Every Port
The 24 Port Unmanaged Gigabit Switch brings the speed of Gigabit Ethernet to each and every port for a truly high-speed network. If your network has a mix of legacy and modern computing capabilities, each port allows for standard Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, or Gigabit Ethernet connections. You have the ability to connect every computer and device to your network quickly and efficiently.
Innovative Design
Using a compact desktop style the DGS-1024A helps reduce heat levels and allow for a fanless design, making the switch silent, as well as economical. The 24-Port Unmanaged Gigabit Switch is small, lightweight, and wall-mountable making it simple to setup.
Conserves Energy
The 24-Port Unmanaged Gigabit Switch helps conserve energy automatically through several methods. It automatically powers down ports that have no link, allowing the switch to save substantial amounts of power by cutting power usage for unused ports or any ports connected to computers that have been shut down. It can also detect connected cable lengths, and adjusts power usage accordingly, helping you save energy without affecting networking performance.

    D-Link DGS-1024A reviews

24-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Did the job.... Showed up fast and on time. All ports fired up perfectly. Gigabit speed are great, backward compatibility with slower network devices even better. Overall a great purchase for the needs of the office. Only downside is it is a plastic case... I knew that going in, but it feels like there's not much to it. I'll just baby it a little more. But at the same time it's kind of a plus as I'll be packing it around to multiple meetings and I don't need a 10 pound behemoth in my bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it is supposed to do. We use this on our office network. Easy to install and does what it needs to do. What else can I say?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped working in the first week of use D-Link switch only came with a North American Warranty as was purchased in NY, USA. Can't register product in Australia as it was purchased in USA. So no warranty unless I ship back to USA. The switch stopped working in the first week of use. First 8 of the 24 ports failed, then the rest seem to reboot every couple of seconds. Computers plugged into Switch show connected then no connection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More that enough Easy setup--just plug in the power supply and plug the Ethernet cables into it. I like how the color or the lights indicates the speed of the connection--green for the fastest, yellow for slower speeds. I'll never use all of these ports, but this switch had all the features I wanted at a price I considered reasonable.
