Will this work on the GH5 Mark II?
Asked by: Jehan
Works great with the GH5 (Mark 1) and have not tried with the Mark II. Might check the B&H under the Mark II suggested batteries.

Hi,Just wanting to check if this is also compatible with the GH4. The code on the back of the GH4 is '#DMW-BLF19E'. Not sure if the extra e is of some significance. CheersDamian

question

I have a collection of these batteries from 2013 onward for my GH3 and GH4 bodies. Is there any way to tell which of the units is the oldest? I should have marked them by age but did not. I shoot all the time and want to recycle the older ones in favor of buying new ones.
Asked by: William B.
I put a piece of removable tape on the end of each battery, then write the date on it in pencil when I charged it. I can then judge how long the battery is lasting (depending on how often I use the camera, of course). I recycle the ones that discharge quickly.

question

How long does the battery need to be charged to get a full charge? There is no clear indication on this.
Asked by: Gagandeep M.
Not too much. Maybe up to 3 hours. Once I have 3 batteries, I have never checked exactly but not far from this.

question

Is this a real certified Panasonic battery?
Asked by: Francis V.
there is a Panasonic Battery Pack/Bloc batterie. Model No DMW-BLF 19PP 7.2Vdc 1860mAh 14Wh Li-ion. Panasonic Corporation. Made in China UL certified printed right on the battery. I've used it since last june and they last most of my shooting day (600+ shots) and work flawlessly with my Lumix GH4.
