Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good buy for some of my Nikon gear....own three. I purchased the Ape Case ACLC8 to protect the Nikkor AF 60mm f2.8 D lens, perfect! My Nikon 50mm f1.4G is very, very tight, without the hood. If the liner is removed both lens and hood fit but with limited protection. I don't recommended it for carry but great for on the shelf storage (50mm f1.4G +hood). Great for my manual focus Nikon Ai-s lenses of which vary from 20mm/3.5, the largest being the Ai-s manual focus 135mm(perfect fit). Also, a set of Kenko tubes(3) or the three Nikon PK series tubes, do fit just right in this case. The case is constructed well and I find it a good buy at this price point. Would purchase again and do recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great lens cases I was buying Pearstone cases for my lenses. It seems that B&H are not carrying as many sizes as before so I took a flyer on a pair of these Ape Cases. A very pleasant surprise these cases are very well constructed, if need be you can remove part of the lining. The zipper works very well. I downgraded my rating by one star because I think these cases could use a little more padding in the bottom. Otherwise, they work great and this size holds my Noctilux perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feel more secure These lens cases are a good snug fit. The padding is great to keep the lenses protected in the camera bag. Plus, when you ask an assistant to bring you a lens from the case, they are not just bringing the bare lens which could be dropped, but they can carry it in the Ape Case just in case there is a fumble. Well worth the price for the extra security.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Batis 25mm and Sony 55mm f/1.8 lenses Must -have soft case for Sony FE mount users. Using the supplied inner padding, this case will snugly fit a 55mm f/1.8 Zeiss with its hood reversed. Without the inner padding, this case will happily fit a Batis 25mm f/2 with hood. As such, it will have no problems with other FE glass such as the 35mm f/2.8 or the 28mm f/2 lens. Very well constructed and a great price to boot. Heartily recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect case for the Batis 85mm lens I purchased the Ape Case ACLC8 to protect the Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8 Lens for Sony E Mount. Since this is a rather expensive lens I wanted a quality case for it. One of the things I like about the Ape Case is it comes with a removable insert. To use it with the Batis 85mm you have to remove the insert. However it still has what I consider adequate protection on the sides, top, and bottom even without the insert. With the insert the case will also fit the Sony FE 28-7o lens. In the case of both lenses you will need to reverse the lens hood but both lenses will fit in the case with the lens hood reversed, which also helps to keep the case more compact. I liked the bright yellow interior of the case and the horizontal and vertical loops on the back give you more carrying options. For the price I consider it a real bargain but with quality workmanship. I will definitely recommend this case and will be purchasing Ape Case products in the future for other equipment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice lens case This is a good quality case that is a nice snug fit for my Pentax 50-200 mm kit lens. It has Velcro fixings for both vertical and a detachable padded insert for larger diameter lenses.
