I don't like the Ape case. It is not what I was looking for. It did accept the Nikon 70-300 f3.5 lens. But it was not easy to extract from the case. I had to squeeze the bottom to force the lens out of the case. If I was to use it I would not be able to quickly change lenses. As I said this is my opinion. If you like Ape cases you are welcome to them. I won't be buying another one.

Affordable, well made, nice functional case. A little smaller diameter than I expected so had to order another one a size larger for my 300mm but still a nice case for other smaller lens. Probably my fault for only reading the general description and not checking the actual dimensions.

Perfect size for my 75-300 mm lens, even with the reversed lens hood on it. it makes me feel safe knowing my lens is protected. It has a good quality zipper. If it were waterproof, it would be perfect!

Product is what I expected for the price. However, it has a petrolium oder which I have not been able to get ride of. So it's unusable indoors.
