My Most Relied on Timer

This is a very nice and quite accurate countdown timer. It is very easy to set up, use the memory function for repeat processes. It will also function as a count up timer (stopwatch).

I'm using this timer for printing Ziatype photos. Having three timers in one is handy. The beeps are not irritating as I can't always get back to the time to hit STOP. The next timer counts on even if I don't hit STOP on the previous timer and I like that. Also, a useful feature is the previous timers begins to count backward until you hit stop so you don't need to begin counting in your head after you hear the beep. Once you return to the timer you know how much time has lapsed. Three stars because 1-The yellow controls for lock and set sometimes stop in the middle but it feels like they are in the correct position yet the timer quits working. Now that I know this, it helps. Messing with the timer is the last thing I want to do when thinking of exposure, chemicals, humidity, paper, darkroom get what I mean.2-There is no off switch so I don't know the battery life yet. I've used it for only three weeks.

What I like most is that it doesn't fog film or extra sensitive papers in my very small darkroom. I can also use it in the field as a timer for long exposure shots. So it does double duty. I'm older and my vision isn't what it used to be, so having a somewhat larger display and bigger text on the control buttons would be nice, but not essential. It's functional as is.

Works well but confusing.

Accurate and flexible, but the controls can be confusing, especially in the dark.

Was hoping it would be easier to read in the darkroom. Setting times is cumbersome. It does the job.
