    Sony 100DMR47SP/US Reviews

Recordable Storage DVD-R (Pack of 100) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 74.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best reasonably priced DVD-Rs around While I am at odds with some of Sony's corporate practices, I will always buy their recordable media.? I have tried all major brands and a few off-brands, and most either lose data over time or suffer write fails (in particular, a brand starting with 'V'). I have Sony disks, both CD and DVD, that were burned several years ago that still work just fine. Most of the other brands were rewritten to Sony when they were having read problems. Maybe others have their favorite brands, but over many years, with a dozen brands of burners and 20 operating systems, Sony is the answer for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won't burn I am attempting to burn DVDs my Mac (OS X El Capitan, Version 10.11.6) for a wedding I filmed but nothing I do will make these DVDs burn. I have tried countless times to burn just one DVD but every time I get an error message saying, Error burning disk image: The burn failed because of a medium write error. Online I found that some people had solved this issue by burning at a lower speed so I tried burning at 4X and 2X speed but still yielded the same results. When I switched to using the imation brand, I was able to burn the disks at 4X on the first try without a hitch. Now I have a stack of 100 DVDs that are worthless to me because I can't burn anything on them. Needless to say, it's very frustrating and disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sony DVD-R I have used TDK DVD-R discs for the past five years and since they have discontinued production of the item, I had to switch brands. I have a DVD recorder which I use to tape television programs and movies, so I decided to change to Sony since they've been known for years for high quality recording resources. I have already used a 100 disc spindle and couldn't be happier. I wish I had been using them all along.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good & Cheap It is affordable to burn and give away sermons on these DVDs. Also to save and store up priceless home videos and pictures.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sony DVD-R I have had no problems with them and compatibility is good. The only somewhat negative is the surface has little ridges that may it weird to write on them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sony DVD-R disk. Recommended by my cousin Jimmy, who does a lot of recording storage on: as good reliable disk to purchase. So they were purchased to download photo's into/on as permanent backup storage. Haven't had the need to use any yet. So only time will tell. Will try to remember to update this review after sometime & use of these DVD-R's. B&H's price was the best I could find anywhere around for these Sony DVD-R's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SONY DVD-R takes the most to record I have always used SONY DVD-R I was told that they were High Grade. I have a DVD Recorder when the DVD Drive gets tired it will no longer write to SONY DVD-R's I am guessing that the disc takes a stronger signal to write to the SONY DVD-R when MY DVD will no longer write to SONY DVD's I can write to lesser quality DVD's. IN the years that I have been producing video's I have never had a SONY DVD fail
