  • 1Description

The LEE Filters Seven5 Filter Holder is a precision-engineered filter holder designed specifically for the Seven5 75 x 90mm filter series. The compact size of the holder and filters is especially suited for compact interchangeable lens cameras, such as mirrorless cameras, and supports the use of two rectangular filters at a time. A dedicated circular polarizer is also available and can be used in combination with other rectangular filters simultaneously. This holder requires the use of a Seven5 adapter ring to attach to lenses with filter ring diameters between 37-72mm.

Designed for use with compact interchangeable lens cameras.
Requires a Seven5 adapter ring for attaching the holder to a lens. Adapter rings are available in sizes ranging from 37-72mm.

    LEE Filters S5FH reviews

Seven5 Filter Holder is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Caution concerning this item Let me start by saying I'm a big fan of this system. But it does have a technical problem. The filter clips are held to the holder with 4 tiny screws which have very few threads anchoring the screws and holder clips to the base. In my case one had come out on its own, another still held, but loose. Fortunately I found both the screw and a spacer inside the bag I carry everything. But then I found the screw slots were basically stripped making replacement difficult. I did apply some locktite after securing everything a well as possible. I have contacted Lee regarding this and asking for the actual screw size so I could replace lost ones locally. Waiting for a reply.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Seven5 Filter Holder - or NOT! There is only one hiccup with the Seven5 filter holder - and that is the holder is designed to disengage from the lens adapter ring if it is bumped or twisted. A good plan, but failed in execution. My filter holder can appear firmly attached, and I double check it, but it will often fall off when least expected. Every time I have caught it - except once! See attached photo of my former 10-stop ND filter. Helpful hint: REMOVE the holder EVERY time you think about adjusting or moving the camera.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too easy to lose Works as advertised but accidentally dropped my filter holder (thank god with no filters on it) in the water because it was poorly secured. I read several reviews of the Seven5 system where people complained that the filter holder isn't as secured as the bigger Lee system, well I'm one of these people now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A landscape photography necessity I just received this for my Fujifilm X-T1 and can't wait to use it in the field for landscapes. It attaches easily and is easy to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Unit With One Annoying Flaw Love this filter system. The holder is a spring action that clamps to the adapter. Love the type of filters, and love how we can also attach a circular polarizer. One annoying flaw that cost them a the five star rating, and can make the holder useless is that spring on the housing. Tighten that spring every time you use the system. It can unwind, and if it gets loose, the spring could pop off and get lost. And that LEE Filters Spring Clip Housing for Lens Hood and Filter Holder for other sizes of Lee filters costs $17. We were on a long vacation when the spring got lost, and I tried to cobble something together with duct tape to no avail. Afterwards, some of my long exposure shots show my fingers. They must not have gotten around making the spring clip housing for the Seven5 size yet, because they were kind enough to send me the spring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great I'm using this on a Canon G1X and it's just the right size for this camera. It's solid and well built. I also purchased the polorizer filter that Lee offers for this holder and they work great together. The polorizer fits the holder a bit snug, but that's better than a bit loose. I'm using Singh Ray GND filters with the holder and they fit the holder very well. I was going to go with a Cokin P holder, but am glad that I went this route.
