The LEE Filters Seven5 Filter Holder is a precision-engineered filter holder designed specifically for the Seven5 75 x 90mm filter series. The compact size of the holder and filters is especially suited for compact interchangeable lens cameras, such as mirrorless cameras, and supports the use of two rectangular filters at a time. A dedicated circular polarizer is also available and can be used in combination with other rectangular filters simultaneously. This holder requires the use of a Seven5 adapter ring to attach to lenses with filter ring diameters between 37-72mm.

What thickness of filters will this system hold? Also how would a polarizer attach to it?
Im not sure what thickness the filters are, but it works with all the Seven5 Lee filters. The polarizer attaches to the front via the 4 screws on the corners, it rotates on and snaps into place.

Will I get any vignetting using the Seven5 system on a 8mm focal length, 67mm thread MFT lens (OMD EM-1ii)?
I have used it upto 14mm without any vignetting. I read somewhere that you will see vignetting at 8mm ( quick search on internet can pull it up) but I haven't tested it as I don't own 8mm glass.

Will my generic brand adapter rings work with this or would it need to be Seven5 adapter rings? Thanks!
I bought the Seven5 adapter rings for each one of my lenses because they're specifically designed to work with the Seven5 system. I'm happy with my purchase as it makes my work flow seemless when changing between lenses.

I've used it on Fuji XT-1 and Sony A7ii with incredible results but never with Leica.

Does this hold 1 or 2 filters?
This holder has two slots for filters but also allows for their polarizing filter to attach to the front. So you could have as many as three filters if one is a polarizing filter.

I have a Sony A7II. Would this be compatible? Also, I currently own the 100mm system, should i just stick with that?
If you are using the smaller diameter lenses made for mirrorless cameras then the Seven5 filters will be needed. However, if you are using lenses made for dslrs on your Sony A7ii then the 100mm filters will work.

Is it possible to use the 100mm system on smaller mirrorless camera? What needs to be purchased for a 58mm lens so I can use my existing 100mm system ?
Yes it's possible to use standard 100x100 system with mirrorless but bulky hence overkill. Only thing needed for the 58 mm is an adapter with the right thread size (available on the maker's website under Specs).

Is the seven5 system compatible with a dslr camera (canon 70D)? What trade-offs might you expect when comparing this system with the larger (100mm) system?
The Seven5 Filter Holder is really designed for smaller cameras, such as rangefinders and mirrorless cameras. It will only work with lenses with 37-72mm filter threads. So, if you invested in some of Canons high end lenses that have 77mm and 82mm filter threads, you would need to invest in an entirely new system for a filter holder. It would be a much better idea to start out with the Lee 100mm system. *Christina*
