The LEE Filters Seven5 Hood is a snap-on lens hood that quickly and easily snaps on to the front of the Seven5 Filter Holder. When attached, the lens hood will help to shade the surface of your filters and lens to block stray light and help prevent lens flare.

This lens hood is compatible with filter ring diameters up to 72mm and permits the use of the dedicated Seven5 Circular Polarizer filter when the hood is attached.

Compatible with the Seven5 Filter Holder for use on lenses with filter ring diameters between 37-72mm.
Lens hood helps to block stray light from reaching the lens and filter surfaces and helps to minimize lens flare and ghosting.
The Seven5 Circular Polarizer can still be attached to the filter holder while the lens hood is in place.

Seven5 Hood is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Flawed Design While I love the rest of my Lee Seven5 gear, the hood design should have been much better. It is supposed to twist onto the holder, but there is nothing keeping it from twisting back off again, and since the groove is only about a centimeter, it doesn't take much at all. The hood fell off my camera the first time I used it. Fortunately, the metal frame and rubber hood protected my polarizer (which was attached) from any harm, but such a piece of kit shouldn't be so precarious. Even handling it while trying to adjust the polarizer, I had to fight to keep in from falling.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Olympus 12-40 2.8 When I was considering buying this I had trouble finding out whether or not it would vignette with my setup (Olympus OMD-EM1 with 12-40 2.8 and 9-18). With the 12-40 lens it didn't stop vignetting til about 18mm (36mm equivalent) when fully retracted, and I use the lens at wider setting most of the time when shooting landscapes, so I had to return. Built really well, and works well at longer focal lengths, so 3 stars.. The rest of the Lee Seven5 system has worked wonderfully on my 12-40 and 9-18.
