Elinchrom RX One Overview

The Elinchrom D-Lite RX One Flash Head is a 100W/s auto-sensing, multi-voltage monolight that recognizes any AC power source from 90-260VAC, allowing power variability over 5.0 stops in 1/10 stop increments. Recycling is a fast 0.5-2.1 sec. (@115V) with flash durations as short as an action-stopping 1/2200 sec at full power.

The D-Lite RX One is packed with professional and convenience features usually found in flash heads twice its price. Although this head accepts one, you won't need a PC cord. It has a built-in EL Skyport Receiver with 8 frequency channels that can handle 4 distinct groups of flashes. Separate purchase of the EL Skyport Speed Transmitter not only allows you to trigger your flash at distances up to 393' but gives you control of power on/off, modeling light functions and Speed Sync activation. Free software for Mac and PC computers is available, providing additional features such as Flash-Delay for strobing effects. Add an optional WiFi module to the transmitter and you can use specially designed apps that allow full remote control from your for iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

D-Lite RX One's bayonet mount accepts all Elinchrom accessories and softboxes up to 53" (135 cm). It comes with a power cord with a U.S. plug, sync cord, flash tube and protective cap. The included 115V 100W modeling lamp must be swapped out when using the unit in nominal 230V electrical environments.

    Not directly, no. The Elinchrom D-Lite RX One Flash Head uses the Elinchrom mount, not the Bowens S-mount, for connecting light modifiers to this light fixture. As such, in order to use a Bowens S-mount light modifier on the Elinchrom D-Lite RX One Flash Head, it is recommended to purchase the GTX STUDIO Bowens to Elinchrom Flash Head Adapter, B&H # GTGSAR1424 • MFR # GS-AR-1424. https://bhpho.to/3Gc7hWG

    The input voltage that the Elinchrom D-Lite RX One Flash Head, B&H # ELDLRXONE, is designed to accept is 90 to 260 VAC, 50/60 Hz. It is a multi-voltage item, so it would work for your usage needs. However, do note that the flash head includes the standard USA plug and the modeling lamp designed for use on 100-120V input voltage. As such, if you will be using the light fixture internationally, you will need to purchase a plug adapter to convert the plug to the type used in your country, and you will have to purchase a modeling lamp with the correct voltage for use in your country.

    Can you use a canon st e3 rt trigger to fire the strobes? Also is this alot more powerful than a 600 rt?

    Most speed-lights are no more than 65 watts. The D-Lite RX One is 100 watts. It is around double the power. It does not work with the Canon ST-E3-RT Speedlite Transmitter. The built in receiver works with the Elinchrom - EL-Skyport Transmitter Plus and the Elinchrom EL-Skyport Transmitter Pro.

    Hi,If you check your instruction book you will see how to control the modeling lamp.Here is the item you are inquiring about.Setup Visual-Flash-Control (VFC) modeProportional modelling lamp setup (PMS)> Enter VFC setup :1. Press Prop push button for more than 2 seconds, until the display shows F.X (X is 0 or 1) toenter into the Modelling lamp setup menu.2. Use the Flash-Power up and down button to change setting:- F.0: Visual-Flash-Control = OFF. Modelling lamp remains ON after flash.- F.1: Visual-Flash-Control = ON. Modelling lamp switches off during recharging.3. The display switches back to normal mode after approx. 4 seconds if no button is pressed. Thesettings are automatically stored.4. Standard setting is F.0, VFC = OFFI hope this helps.Regards,Will H
