    question

Hello can i use it too freeze a jumping person on a trampoline?
    Asked by: Anonymous
The best flash duration for the BRX 250 is 1/2762 sec., so if the flash is going to be the only light source, that is more than enough to freeze the jumper.

    question

I'm looking to shoot wide open in the studio (f1.4, f1.8 etc) will this let me do it or will it still output too much power? I'm planning to put this inside the elinchrom 53 octa
    Asked by: Anonymous
It would depend on the distance at which the light is placed from your subject, as well as your ISO setting. If you are shooting at ISO 100 and the flash is about 12-15 feet away, you may be able to get f/1.8 or f/1.4. If you are trying to get the light closer to your subject, due to its 5-stop range, you would have to use neutral density gels in front of the light/inside the softbox if you wish to shoot wide open, as the strobe would not have enough range to power down for your needs.

    question

Can this be used outside the USA (i.e. on 220v)? Do I need to use it with a converter, or is it dual voltage?
    Asked by: Anonymous
The BRX 250 and 500 are auto-sensing multivoltage units, with input voltages ranging from 90v to 260v AC. However, the US units come only with the US version of the AC Mains (power) cord. Also, the US units come with 120VAC modeling lamps. If the units are used outside the US, you will need to change the AC Mains (power) cord and the modeling lamp.
