The Audio-Technica ATW-1101/H92-TH System 10 is a digital wireless earset microphone system featuring an ATW-R1100 tabletop receiver. The portable system is well suited for quick setup in educational facilities, conference rooms, small venues, and houses of worship as well as web broadcast studios.

The easy-to-use system comes preconfigured at the factory, ready to operate right out of the box with no setup required. Three levels of diversity reception and automatic frequency selection provide seamless, reliable performance with clear digital audio for presenters, lecturers, clergy, and performers.

The ATW-1101/H92-TH includes a bodypack transmitter and a beige PRO 92cW omnidirectional condenser earset mic for hands-free speech. The lightweight, low-profile earset delivers improved clarity and additional protection against feedback when compared to a lavalier mic.

The transmitter provides up to 7 hours of continuous use with two AA batteries, at a maximum range of 100'. For setups with multiple presenters, up to 8 mic channels can operate simultaneously in the same space.

Clear Speech with Digital Audio and Omnidirectional Earset Mic

  • The System 10 offers full-bandwidth, 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio with none of the audio artifacts associated with analog companding.
  • The beige PRO 92cW earset microphone uses a flexible, contoured earpiece that hooks over either ear for a comfortable fit.
  • The earset with a condenser microphone capsule is ideal for lecturers and other applications requiring clear, articulate vocal projection.
  • The mic's omnidirectional polar pattern ensures that the sound remains consistent, even when the speaker's head moves away from the mic.

Easy to Set Up, Easy to Operate

Automatic Frequency Selection
  • Just power up the components, and the receiver automatically seeks out a clean frequency and pairs up with the transmitter, saving you the hassle of scanning and syncing.
  • While in use, the system continually monitors activity in the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi range and automatically switches to a clean frequency to avoid interference if necessary.

Lightweight, Portable Receiver Chassis

  • The tabletop receiver chassis features lightweight, plastic housing designed to let you stack multiple receivers on top of each other for convenience.
  • The chassis' front-panel LEDs show pairing statuses and warn you if the transmitter's input level is set too high and causing distortion.
  • A System ID number display indicates which transmitter is associated with a given receiver.
  • Rear-panel connections include balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" output connections as well as an output level control.

Lightweight Bodypack Transmitter

  • The transmitter is housed in lightweight, plastic chassis equipped with a Hirose 4-pin locking connector and a belt clip.
  • An internal input trim control can be set, using the included screwdriver, to match the sensitivity of your microphone or audio source for distortion-free input.
  • With just a quick press, the power switch on the transmitter doubles as a mute function. This function can be locked out to prevent an accident.

Pairing Multiple Transmitters

  • With this peer-to-peer system, the transmitter can only transmit to one receiver at a time. However, up to 8 transmitters can be paired with a receiver ahead of time. This is useful in situations when you have multiple presenters, one after another, and you need to have them miked up and ready to go. All you'll have to do is turn one transmitter Off and the next one On.

Three Levels of Diversity Assurance to Avoid Dropouts

Triple Diversity Reception Maximizes Wireless Signal Integrity

  • Space Diversity: The receiver compares the signal showing up at its two antennas and chooses the strongest one.
  • Time Diversity: The transmitter sends the digital signal in two imperceptibly different time slots and compares the two.
  • Frequency Diversity: The digital audio is sent over two different frequencies at the same time and the system chooses the cleaner one.

For optimal performance, users are encouraged to maintain as direct a line of sight as possible between the transmitter and receiver.

2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Band

  • Unlike traditional analog wireless systems, the System 10 operates in the 2.4 GHz ISM band, away from interruptions and dropouts caused by TV and radio channel interference.

Add Functionality to Your System

Audio-Technica offers a variety of lavalier, headset, instrument cable, and handheld microphone options to adapt your System 10 as your needs evolve.

  • The PRO 8HEcW headset microphone uses a pivot-mounted flexible mic boom that descends from either the left or right side. The headset features a low-visibility headband and cushioned support pads to provide a stable, secure fit.
  • The low-visibility, miniature MT830cW lavalier microphone delivers a natural sound optimized for speech intelligibility and features an omnidirectional polar pattern that ensures consistent sound, even when the speaker's head is moving during a presentation.
  • The AT831cW mini cardioid lavalier mic offers a narrower, feedback-resistant pickup pattern for louder events.

  • The ATW-T1002 handheld transmitter/mic is available for presenters and performers who prefer the flexibility of a handheld microphone.

Video Conferencing

  • The ATW-T1006 boundary transmitter/mic is designed for tabletop use, ideal for applications such as video-conferencing where minimum visibility is required.

  • The ATW-T1007 base transmitter can be used with a gooseneck mic on a table for situations where wired mics are impractical.

  • The AT-GcW guitar cable lets you connect the bodypack transmitter to a guitar or bass.

We have been using System 10 system for several years now. Like the product so much we are using all 8 available channels. 7 mics and 1 headset.

WIFI Trouble

We have a least 10 UHF RF systems at our church. Thought we would get a System 10 to escape the crowded RF of our area. Worked with it almost a year now. The receiver is mounted 20 feet, line of site, from the speaking position - absolute best case set up! Sadly, The system Drops Out on an irregular basis, the only good thing is there is no audible click. This happens when anyone uses a Laptop or Ipad on the podium. A smart phone in a pocket of the person using the TX can cause the same problems. Even tried forcing other devices into 5.0Ghz ONLY. This did not help. Tried a friends System 10 and had same problems. I personally think the 2.4Ghz radio in TX is not powerful enough. Either way this system is not ready for professional applications. Sorry, love all your other products

Sounds great but....

the quality of sound is very good, but the microphone is almost un usable. If it is not in a mic stand and is being held in the hand you can hear every little movement of the fingers and hands.

Lavalier model. Installed in small church, mic up front, receiver way in back. No interference, good signal, good sound. Lapel clip not as pictured. Wire spring on lapel clip that's supposed to hold mic lacks springiness, so just threaded wire through clip. Oh well. Set up easy, works great, good signal, no noise, no interference. Like the mute button feature on transmitter.

Quality Wireless Mic

The system has excellent quality and I have had no interference problems with it. I was getting a little extra white noise at one venue, but it ended up being an EQ issue that was resolved on the board. Otherwise, the system has served me well for both live music and DJ'ing weddings. Speeches sound just as good as live vocals over a 6 piece band. Looking to buy another system soon!

This mic set has been working very well in our church. The preacher likes it.

Great, just what I needed.

I bought these to use for a variety of purposes, but mostly for speech. My wife is the one who primarily uses these and she is not a techie. I wanted microphones with clear signal that were very easy to set up and use. These have been exactly that. We travel with these and never know what the environment will be like. We have never had problems with poor signal or interference in the year we have had them. The lavaliers are a little delicate and we treat them as such so have never had any issues. If your treat your equipment with care it will serve you well.
