The ATW-1101/L System 10 from Audio-Technica is a digital wireless lavalier microphone solution that is designed to provide high quality vocal reproduction for speakers and singers in house of worship, broadcast and other applications. The set includes the ATW-R1100 digital receiver, the ATW-T1001 UniPak pocket transmitter and the MT830cW lavalier microphone. It uses 24-bit, 48 kHz digital audio and operates free from TV interference in the 2.4 GHz frequency range. Built for expandability, you can use up to eight systems simultaneously.

The MT830cW is a lavalier condenser microphone that is designed to be worn inconspicuously on the clothing or in the hair. It features an omnidirectional polar pattern that is designed to deliver a wide pick up radius and maximize vocal intelligibility. It also features a switchable high-pass filter that rolls off 18 dB per octave starting at 80 Hz. This helps to reduce unwanted low frequency pick up from ambient sound, clothing adjustments or breathing in close proximity to the mic. The mic has a 55" cable that terminates with a locking 4-pin connector which plugs into the ATW-T1001 UniPak pocket transmitter.

The ATW-1101/L wireless system is engineered to quickly find the best signal possible, utilizing an automatic frequency selection function that chooses open bands for you when you "pair" your transmitter with the receiver. Also designed to combat interference, the ATW-1101/L uses three different diversity techniques. Using frequency diversity, the system sends the wireless signal on two separate channels simultaneously and chooses the one with the clearest signal. It also transmits the signal across multiple intervals in time in order to fight multipath interference. This is known as time diversity. Furthermore, the system also makes use of space diversity, choosing between the receiver's dual antennas depending on which is picking up the best signal integrity.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from WIFI Trouble We have a least 10 UHF RF systems at our church. Thought we would get a System 10 to escape the crowded RF of our area. Worked with it almost a year now. The receiver is mounted 20 feet, line of site, from the speaking position - absolute best case set up! Sadly, The system Drops Out on an irregular basis, the only good thing is there is no audible click. This happens when anyone uses a Laptop or Ipad on the podium. A smart phone in a pocket of the person using the TX can cause the same problems. Even tried forcing other devices into 5.0Ghz ONLY. This did not help. Tried a friends System 10 and had same problems. I personally think the 2.4Ghz radio in TX is not powerful enough. Either way this system is not ready for professional applications. Sorry,love all your other products

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, just what I needed. I bought these to use for a variety of purposes, but mostly for speech. My wife is the one who primarily uses these and she is not a techie. I wanted microphones with clear signal that were very easy to set up and use. These have been exactly that. We travel with these and never know what the environment will be like. We have never had problems with poor signal or interference in the year we have had them. The lavaliers are a little delicate and we treat them as such so have never had any issues. If your treat your equipment with care it will serve you well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good performing system I have several of these in use on our campus. They work as advertised and sound pretty good. We use them mainly for lecture halls and recording in smaller classrooms. The systems are set up with different mic options including hand held, lavaliere and ear worn mics. For PA use, the hand helds and ear mics have excellent gain before feedback. The audio is clean though it tends to be a little "bassy". We have had no issues with interference of any kind, including wifi. These mics do use up batteries rather quickly, so a set of good rechargeable AA's are in order. My biggest gripe with the system is that the antennas on the receiver are a little fragile which can be an issue with lesser experienced personnel or you move these around a lot.� Overall, I'm pleased with these mics.

I was getting a little extra white noise at one venue, but it ended up being an EQ issue that was resolved on the board. Otherwise, the system has served me well for both live music and DJ'ing weddings. Speeches sound just as good as live vocals over a 6 piece band. Looking to buy another system soon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound Lavalier model. Installed in small church, mic up front, receiver way in back. No interference, good signal, good sound. Lapel clip not as pictured. Wire spring on lapel clip that's supposed to hold mic lacks springiness, so just threaded wire through clip. Oh well. Set up easy, works great, good signal, no noise, no interference. Like the mute button feature on transmitter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It Works Well Used by a pastor to speak in a medium-sized hall. The range seems good, however, the sound went out during first use. Nevertheless, it has consistently worked since. It was probably user error. It was extremely easy to setup and use right out of the box.
