Where is this product made?
Every one of my Zeiss T* lenses has a T* UV filter attached and I've never had an issue. I own - but don't use them too much - the T* circular polarizing filters as well and have never had a problem stacking with the UV and T* coated glass outside of the expected vignetting.

Is the material aluminum or brass?
The frames of Zeiss POL and UV filters are made of black anodized aluminium. This allows the best compromise between sturdiness and weight and allows them to be screwed-in smoothly into the chrome plated brass filter thread mounts of their lenses.
