The SpectroLED-14 Two Light Kit (100-240VAC/12VDC) by Genaray includes 2 14" LED lights, diffusers, cables and power sources and two light stands. This B&H Kit is built around this 10-100% dimming fixture with a 60° beam angle. 1,144 LEDs output an impressive brightness equivalent many times its nominal 75W rating.

In a field dominated by rectangular or square arrays Genaray has made the wise choice of making their studio lights circular. Not only does the increased surface area have more wrap-around light characteristics but the shape renders pleasing, natural-looking catchlights in your subject's eyes. And if you're doing portraiture you can soften the SpectroLED-14's output while widening its native 60 degree coverage by slipping the included 3/4 stop diffusion sock over the reflector. Heat is never a concern since the cool-running SpectroLED-14 is barely warm to the touch. Another way to soften the quality of light is the umbrella socket that's built into the mount. You can use reflective or translucent umbrellas for bounce or shoot-through effects. The socket accepts 7.0 or 8.0 mm shafts and the mount has a 65 degree tilting range for perfect placement.

Power is provided by the included multivoltage Power Supply/Adapter. The inclusion of a cigarette lighter adapter cord also gives you the option of using 12V batteries for convenience or location shooting. You can run the SpectroLED-14 for approximately 70 minutes on an average fully charged battery. Not only are you saving money every time you use the SpectroLED-14 due to its low current draw, but with a 50,000 hour lamp life the SpectroLED 14 is virtually maintenance-free.

Note: runtime is approximate depending on battery selected

SpectroLED-14 Two Light Kit (100-240VAC/12VDC) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Lights For The Money I bought this kit for a simple lighting solution in small spaces. And it works brilliantly! The construction is good and the light these produce is excellent. The stands that come with kit are also very good. If you need bright, inexpensive and pretty good quality lights, buy these. The back and the mounting point are made out of good quality plastic, but I would prefer if they were made from metal (the only reason I didn't give 5 stars)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic lights, incredible value, best in price range. I've owned these lights for about 10 months now, and am extremely happy with the purchase. I do corporate video work, mainly consisting over sit-down interviews where I'll use 2-3 lights on the subject, plus a bit of b-roll where I'll throw up 1-2 lights on an area just to give it a little pop. Prior to purchasing these lights, I had been using the equipment owned by the production house I do a majority of my work through. They own a pair of Litepanel 1x1's, and they were our go-to light when we needed to stay somewhat compact and run off battery power. We didn't often use them for interviews because by the time we brought along scrims n such to diffuse them, their convenience diminished. I stumbled upon these Genaray lights when I had a few days on interviews coming up for a client outside of the production house. I wasn't sure how much Id use them, so I didn't have a big budget, but I needed to make sure the quality of light (ie, no color cast) was up to par and wouldn't degrade the work. When the Genaray lights arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at what I received for such a modest price. I'll note I did not use the included light stands... I already had quite a few much heavier duty stands (C-Stands), and retired the included stands for other lightweight uses. They seems to be very lightweight, and would not be a good choice to use with these lights. First off, these lights are easily about twice as powerful as the 1x1s I was used to using. This is huge, because that extra stop of light allowed me to light my subject enough to keep daylight within check (if we had a window in view, I could keep a bit of detail outside instead of having to just let it blow out). The other huge perk of these lights, is the umbrella hole. It may sound trivial, but the ability to carry a medium (I use 43) translucent umbrella and very quickly diffuse these lights made a huge difference. Instead of having to drag along everything needed to scrim the 1x1's, I could simply pop the umbrella in and be ready to go. The extra power of these lights also meant they actually had enough output to shoot through the diffusion umbrella and still light my subject sufficiently. These lights through an umbrella give a very pleasing quality of light (Id compare it to a something like a Rifa light) As for the quality/color of light, these are the best LED's I've had the chance to use. Unlike some of the cheaper LED's (heck, even the Litepanel 1x1's had this problem), you dont have to worry about any noticeable green/magenta cast. The daylight preset on all my cameras (Nikon D810, Sony A7S, Sony FS7) was always so close that I saw very little difference doing a custom WB. At this price point and with all these positives, surely there must be some cons, and that is unfortunately true. While these lights are for the most part well built (the dish is metal, the knobs feel smooth and quality), the mount itself is plastic with plastic angle-adjust teeth, and I feel like it will definitely be the first thing to go once these lights get more use on them. The brick power adapters also feel like it would only take one minor drop/fall for them to break/crack. Another thing worth mentioning, is there is no easy way to add battery to these like what there are with some of the other panel style lights (you cant just pop an AB or V-Mount battery on them obviously). My workaround was to use a Vagabond Mini Lithium, which would power these for an hour or so on full power. It was a bit clumsy (the long power cord from the light to the brick, then the long cord from the brick to the VML, then having to bunch/tie that all up to keep it from hanging everywhere if you needed to move them around). The last inconvenience I can think of, is their somewhat odd size/form factor. They're basically a dish with a control box sticking off the back. Because of this, I have not been able to find an efficient case for them. To use a pelican case, there would be a ton of wasted space, and none of the regular LED panel bags are deep enough to accommodate the center control section sticking out. I ended up using a large zip-open tool bag from a home improvement store, and using a couple large fluffy towels to wrap the lights in and separate them from each other. It works, but a real case option would be nice. In summary, I cant imagine being able to find a better LED light in this price range, and in some ways it outperforms lights costing several times as much. If you're looking for a light that has all the important specs (light quality, power output, neutral cast) and need to work on a limited budget, these are fantastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lights for table top shooting These are light and pretty compact lights that are great for table top photography. They have a great quality of light with the diffusers. I'm really happy I bought them! I would recommend them for anyone looking for a daylight balances source of continuous light that is working on table top work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product The lights are efficient. I like it! The light stands are ok but if you use a Boom arm, it's more difficult. I need to use a light stand bigger, if not the stand and the light want to fall.
