Does what a shockmount is supposed to

There's nothing fancy about this shockmount, it just works. And that's what you want in a shockmount, the ability to accidentally smash into your desk while you're talking and for your mic to not be as affected. It's pricier than I'd like, but I fully expect I'll be using it for the next 40 years or so, so worth the expense.

I needed the shock mount to pair with my Heil PR40 microphone in a pinch. B&H photo and video shipped it the same day I ordered and I received it a day later!

It's a elastic shock mount and does what it is meant to. If you have a PR40, you really should have this to help non acoustical low frequencies from being picked up by the microphone and eating up headroom. The microphone is not particularly bad on it's own, this just makes it better. The PR40 foam windscreen fits perfectly with this.

What a wonderful alternative shockmount for the RE-20 (and similar bodied EV mics). Shown in my pic holding an RE320 on Auray Desktop stand with On-Stage Front Address Pop Filter for EV RE20 and RE320. Killer combo.
