Phoenix Audio MT107E HD overview

  • 1Description

The MT107E HD Single-Channel 16kHz Echo-Canceling System from Phoenix Audio is a DSP-based unit designed to remove noise picked up by microphones in standard to complex audio conferencing environments. It utilizes your own microphone and loudspeakers to create a complete audio conferencing solution. Phoenix Audio Technologies' proprietary full duplex, echo-canceling, noise-canceling, and AGC algorithms prevent gating and the loss of critical information, and provide 16 kHz of clear HD audio.

Input Level (mic/line/6dB boost), Phantom Power Supply (sold separately), and Output Level (mic/line) are the parameters of the MT107E HD Echo-Canceling System that can be controlled, modified and stored in the unit via the SDK graphic utility software. The SDK is a free utility, compatible with Windows, available for download on Phoenix Audio's website. The SDK communicates with the MT107E HD unit through a standard USB connection.

Note: The Phoenix Audio SDK graphic utility software is available at: http://www.phnxaudio.com/support/download

    Phoenix Audio MT107E HD reviews

    MT107E HD Single-Channel 16kHz Echo-Canceling System is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing little box We have a large conference room with table microphones and overhead speakers. Predictably, there were frequent problems with echo in skype, gotomeeting, etc. Adding this little box not only completely eliminated the echo, but it also improved the audio quality noticeably over the basic usb audio interface we were using to the Mac Mini which hosts skype and GTM. Our A/V vendor quoted us $ to fix the echo problem; this box fixed it for under $. Couldn't be more pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems to work I was getting constant complaints about echo coming from my end during Bluejeans calls. This device seems to have solved that problem. My only complaint is that the device is preconfigured for line-level, rather than mic-level, microphone output (the output that gets connected to the microphone jack on your PC). It took me a while to figure out what was going on, and I then had to find a Windows system on which I could run the SDK utility to change the setting.
