My third wheeled base stand for my home studio

These rolling base stands from Impact have replaced light stands inside my home studio. They are sturdy and hold some significant weight when balanced. The units even have a clever leveling pin on one of the legs to get the telescaping pole perfectly vertical.

What is the length of the leg from the center of ...

What is the length of the leg from the center of the pole, to where the wheel makes contact with the floor please? From the photos the folding legs don't look very long. Also what is the total weight? There is no info in the description.

I don't have access to my stands right now to measure them but they are about 16" long, and YES, they are short and the entire stand is prone to tipping over if you don't pay attention to how the top load is balanced.

Look for bags similar to the Matthews Boa Bags if you can manage with a 10lb bag. For standard sand bags, dangle them around the column and put the weight on a leg.

The Impact Folding Wheeled Base Stand (Black/Chrome-plated, 8.5') is about 38 inches folded and is around 7 inches wide. So, two of them is around 13-14 inches. The only soft case that might fit is, https://bhpho.to/44NQSD1.
