This PCIe serial adapter features one high-speed 16950 UART serial port with 128-byte FIFO buffers to support data transfer rates up to 230 kb/s. Additionally, this dual profile serial adapter works in PCIe slots of different lane widths. With the included spare low-profile bracket, the adapter can be installed into either standard height or low-profile system chassis. It is a smart solution to add one RS232 serial port for additional serial port device connections.
