The Da-Lite Providence 42" Multi-Media Lectern with Gooseneck Microphone is a wooden unit with a medium oak veneer, and a computer-based presentation area that can also accommodate an array of media equipment. The hinged reading surface has a cutout for a 15" monitor. The front has a pull out keyboard shelf with fold-down door; a mouse pad shelf slides out of the left side of the keyboard drawer. A right side pull-out shelf is there for a small projector. The illuminated reading surface features a high-intensity lamp and is large enough to support a 3-ring binder. The front and sides of the lectern have been routed out with 1/4" reveals to give a stronger sense of design.
A 120VAC, 60Hz AmpliVox 100 watt amp sound system is provided and features multiple inputs and outputs, including two aux outputs for optional satellite speakers. The built-in 120 watt speaker includes a 6.5" woofer and high-output tweeter. The system features a dynamic gooseneck microphone with mount.
At the bottom of the lectern, there is a CPU bay on the left side, while three storage shelves are installed on the right side. These areas are hidden behind hinged doors. A six-outlet power strip is also inside the lectern. The dashboard features two outlets and an LED digital clock/timer with countdown function. Four, 4" swivel casters (two locking) allow you to move the lectern to a desired position. The Providence operates on 120VAC / 60Hz and includes a 12' power cord suitable for a North American outlet.
