The Samigon 20' Air Release provides a remote control system for cameras that accept a standard mechanical cable release. Smooth, easy, instaneous action makes this an excellent tool for unobtrusive photographic work, such as photographing children, birds, etc.

Samigon BSA871 reviews

Air (Bulb) Release - 20' is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product, but be careful I just bought this item the other day and began to use it and so far no real concerns. It is a great product. However, if you are a person with a strong grip, be very careful, because the bulb could tear at the seam, which happened to me. It is a very small hole and still very useable, but be warned. Also, the camera adapter part is quite large. So, if your shutter release is right behind the lense, you are setup for a little aggravation, but its worth it. I will definitely buy this product again if ever the other one gets too old or I get another camera!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty durable, but squeeze hard! I spent my first weekend with this release getting more use out of it than might be normal. I had read some bad reviews about it's durability so i thought i would really test it out. Being that it was only a $ piece of gear, I wanted to see if it was worth replacing down the road. Long story short, this bulb is still pumping away. I must have shot 7 rolls with it, winding and unwinding over and over. My only concern is the amount of squeeze it takes to fire my camera. Being that I was using the release on an old holga, I am sure it works better on newer cameras. I am pretty happy with it, and when I have worn the bulb out (as to be expected) I will definitely get another for under $20.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from broke... twice in one outing. It broke in more than one way. When the chord is on the reel you don't have to squeeze as hard to release shutter. No problems. Unwound is another story... First the tube popped out of the bulb... Ok use two hands and hold the tube in the bulb. Second ... The bulb popped. PSSssss... Yes that's right it popped. It actually kind of works sometimes if you palm the popped whole... but Really?!?! I only used it one day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works! I have a lot of other cable releases, but I got this to include myself and my wife in some of our landscape photos with the view camera. This looks like it will do the job. Four stars because I haven't used it a lot yet and I'm uncertain about its durability.
