Stainless Steel Tank with Stainless Steel Lid for 2x35mm or 1x120 Reel is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unusable Before buying this I had used Samigon's plastic tanks without issue. I guess I figured the stainless steel would be of higher quality, but I ultimately found this item to be totally unusable. Filling is a tremendous pain, it could take a minute or more to fill the tank, and you have to be very careful to hold it in a tilted way so the air can get out. Obviously this is suboptimal given that you're only developing the film for a few minutes. The other problem is that the cap can get stuck on so that you need pliers to get it off. Also suboptimal while developing. I ended up buying the tank with the plastic lid and haven't had a problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid and serviceable It really does come with a stainless steel lid, not the plastic one incorrectly shown in the item photo. Fit and finish are not as nice as some vintage tanks (sharp edges on the rim of the tank and lid, ugly spot welds inside the lid), but the cap and lid both seal well, and the construction is sturdy. The lid was stuck on when it arrived, but running hot water over it was enough to let me twist it off, and I haven't had a problem with it since. Maybe it got jammed on in transport. For those of us who still prefer the long life and easy cleaning of steel developing equipment, this is a sound choice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware of misfit lid The lid's inside diameter is too loose, or the wider band of the tank is too far down, or something. The lid is prone to coming off during use. It leaks during even mild upright agitation. It rests so far down that the inner baffle largely blocks the flow of liquid in and air out, extending fill-empty times (from a normal 15 seconds) to about a minute. The little lifter tab on the cap is a good idea, but wasted on a nearly unusable tank. If you order Samigon, settle for the plastic lid and test it with water before risking film. I was so distressed by this tank's performance that I traveled to a brick-and-mortar store and paid more for a good used Kindermann tank. The Samigon reels were also third-rate, and I am returning it all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Professional Developing Tank Robust construction. Very easy cleaning, and after drying can be used in same day twice or more. Some problems with pouring - the developer is poured slowly (aprox. 1 - 1.5 min for 400 ml of developer), hampered by air in tank. To accelerate the pouring it is necessary to lift the lid up to the upper mark of the wall of tank.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product It is easy to use. Well, the lid is a pop-off, so sometimes it gets stuck, but I can get it loose and I'm not a strong person. The size is great for me, and it's so small and cute! I've had no problems with it and am happy with the product even though I had to wait two months to get it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Slow fill/pour Construction is solid. Very tight fit. No leaks. However, pour/fill is a drag. Filling it at an angle seems to haste the pace. Pouring it out is way too slow at a fast dripping consistency.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless Filling tank as fast as I could took 1:30 This should not even be available for purchase
