Makes life easier!

Why more companies don't offer something like this is a mystery to me. It provides a simple and effective solution to the perennial problem of what to do with lens caps while shooting, and the clip is - for me - preferable to using the tether/leash-style keepers. The only concern I have is the long-term durability of the plastic hinge that helps hold the clip to a strap/belt. I can foresee that fatiguing and cracking if the clip is frequently attached and detached. But if attached and left in place, that might not be an issue. A more robust design for that hinge would be preferable.

Seems a bit overpriced for two pieces of plastic, but it does the trick and I'm happy with it.

It's a miracle!

Darn thing works like a charm! Holds my lens cap without fail. I have never had an issue with it dropping the cap.

Not too big or small and capable of fastening to strap for easy access. No more lost lens covers!

I'm bad and keeping up with the lens caps, losing or miss placing them. I've used different methods and devices for managing lens caps. Most of the time they just end up in my pocket. The Cap Keeper is attached to my camera's sling strap and lens cap keeper holds on to my lens cap. So far no lost caps. I liked it so much I purchased two more for my other camera's.

Highly recommend this holding your lens cap.

I prefer this clip over the string holding a lens cap. When I have used the string clip I have a problem where the wind will make the lens cap fly all over and I usually have to replace the string every few months. This attaches well to camera straps of somewhere else like a backpack strap. I believe this works much more than some things I own. I recently bought a 2nd one of these so that I have one for each camera. I highly recommend this. I have bought one of these for my step Dad and other photographers in the past.

It just works!

Having lost and had to replace a canon lens cap (expensive little items!) this clips to my strap and when I take a lens cap off it attaches to the other end and is held tight - no more lost or misplaced lens caps.

Had to tape it on.

The idea is nice but this thing will not stay on !! The clip end to attach to the strap comes loose all the time. I had to put a piece of electrical tape to hold it. The grasp end holds the lens cap just fine. So just 3 stars because one end works , the other doesn't.

question

Is there a guarantee (insurance) on the lost lens caps if this clip doesn't hold them?
Asked by: Yuri
But if you should lose your entire camera, Sensei will replace it with the newer model, at no charge. They will also include coupons for free peach milkshakes (seasonal) at your nearest Chick-fil-A.

How large a lens cap will this keeper hold? I'm having difficulty finding one large enough for the 86mm cap on the Sigma 150-500mm. Thanks, Chris.
