The Duo LCD Battery Charger from Watson charges 1 or 2 batteries of various types via dedicated interchangeable plates, which are required and available separately. The Duo can even simultaneously charge 2 different batteries with different voltages. It runs on 100-240VAC power, allowing for use all over the world. Charging time is between 2 and 6 hours, and the charger also features a USB 2.0 port for charging another device simultaneously. The LCD screen provides a digital read-out of each battery's charge percentage--even when the charger is unplugged--via the test button. The Duo includes a power cord with a 2-prong US plug, as well as a 12VDC car charger that plugs into a cigarette lighter.

Duo LCD Battery Charger is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Portable charger for use in VERY remote locations Earlier this year I had the opportunity to travel to a remote area of northern Chile and Bolivia with a small group of friends. The prime purpose was photographic so we all had several cameras, with laptops and smart phones. We were traveling in areas with no power so we had to rely on whatever power we could obtain from our vehicle. I created a unit which would allow up to four batteries of mixed types to be charged simultaneously plus allow other devices to be charged. In addition a Lithium Ion power pack was charged so that batteries could also be charged overnight when the vehicle was stationery. On average each of us were taking about 1000 images per day. The unit kept all our cameras fully charged and I was asked to create a second unit for others to use later this year. I kept the design basically the same as the prototype but added a range of charger plates so that (almost) any type of camera battery could be charged. I obtained a list from B&H of the most popular battery plates sold and purchased the top 20 plates on the assumption that this would cover most of the cameras that people were likely to bring. The charger was built around two Watson dual chargers, with the addition of a Lithium Ion battery pack and a 200w inverter to allow 110v chargers to be plugged in for cameras requiring more than the standard 12v supply (eg Nikon D4). The Watson chargers are equipped with sophisticated circuits to protect the batteries from variation in input voltage. I protected each section of the charger with fuses in case of a short circuit. The Watson Dual LCD charger is a fantastic piece of equipment allowing a mix of different batteries to be charged simultaneously, plus providing USB charging outlets. The state of charge of each battery is visible on the LCD display, and the unit turns off when the batteries are fully charged. Batteries can be tested by pressing the test button.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent charger with charge indicator Does what is it supposed to do. I also bought many adapters for different battery types and this charger works fine with all of them. I like the charge indicator which provides valuable info for optimal long term storage of lithium batteries, at 40-50% of full charge. I did not have access to this info with the battery chargers that came with my video/photo equipment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is cool Finally able to have a charger for all my camera batteries. It's great to have a meter that can tell me what percentage of charge I have. The inserts for different batteries are certainly reasonably priced.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Must-have for mirror-less. My first Dup-Charger blew-out on a power surge. The new one is now used behind a UPS, and kept unpluged when not in use. Common sense, I guess.
