The BlueRay Radiant Underwater Video Light with Batteries from Fantasea Line has a depth rating of 330'. Three LEDs output a maximum of 1600 lumens at a wide beam angle of 110°. Its 6000K color temperature, which is close to that of daylight, helps color-correct images to eliminate the need for color correction filters. Adjustable power output gives you control over the intensity of the beam in various situations. The light will burn for up to 50 min. at full power, 65 min at 50% power, and 85 min at 30% power. The head is constructed from aluminum and the body from polycarbonate, making the BlueRay a durable light.

At 1.81 x 7.95" and 7.83 oz, it is compact and lightweight for easy transport, handling and use in compact underwater video systems. The light is powered by two included Tenergy 3.7V, 2600mAh 18650 lithium-ion batteries, which feature internal protective circuit boards (PCB) to prevent insufficient or excessive voltage. The included charger features over-voltage, over-current, short circuit and reverse polarity protection, and uses 100-240 VAC power to enable worldwide use. An indicator light around the power switch enables easy monitoring of the battery power. The included hand lanyard helps ensure you don't lose the light. Using the optional BlueRay YS Mount A, you can mount the BlueRay Radiant light onto a Fantasea Flex Arm.

BlueRay Radiant Underwater Video Light with Batteries is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Video Light for GoPro I purchased the BlueRay Radiant Video light to use for underwater video with a GoPro Hero (original HD) while cave diving. The light puts out a amazing amount of light. The lights wide beam and good amount of lumens proved a good match to the GoPro. It is also a good value point price / performance point. At full power battery life is about 50 minutes. The charger takes about 4-5 hours to recharge depleted batteries, so a extra set of batteries probably will require an extra charger for multiday shooting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As expected: an ok low-end video light For the sale price I got, this is a nice, compact dive video light. It worked every dive, every time (tested to 38m). Personally I don't like the single button control that cycles through the 3 power levels, but that only becomes a real criticism in a more expensive light where they should be able to give you more convenient controls - in particular separate on/off from illumination level. The full-power strobe effect when shutting off is a real mistake in my opinion - I had to make sure my hand was over the light to turn it off, otherwise the fish disappear and other divers get annoyed. Don't expect a nice flat illumination field - this light has a very noticeable bright center with real falloff to the edges, even with a 28mm (35mm equiv) field of view. There is a night shark video on the Fantasea website that actually shows it pretty well. To sum up: you get what you pay for. The output isn't very even, the controls are basic, but the light was reliable dive after dive on it's first trip (about 40 dives).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seems to be a Very good Light So far I have used this on two open water dives, one to 169 ft the second to 225 ft. Everything was sound. Light is wide angle without much of a central hot spot (barely noticable). Works well to illuminate colors for GoPro Hero2 camera in the 3-6 ft range to subject. The rating of 1600 lumens is probably pretty accurate although I cannot measure this rating. I will say that most LED cheapo dive lights are no where near the rated lumens. (you can get an idea if the adds are overstated by looking for the spec sheet on the particular LED chip). The light has three intensity settings, and a strobe flasher that I wish they would not include on video lights, very annoying. However, the strobe is easy to bypass quickly with the button switch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! I bought this (with the arm) to use with a GoPro while scuba diving. The GoPro was disappointing, but this light was not. It has 3 brightness settings that are very useful underwater. The battery kit that comes with it makes it simple to recharge. Several divers admired it and said they will get one, too. To note: I will likely sell the GoPro, but I will definitely keep this light!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome light! I took this light to Roatan and made 20+ dives with it. I usually used the light on the highest setting and it was extremely bright. Sometimes too bright as I found out some of my pictures were washed out. Know that I would use it on a lower setting for upclose pictures. During night dives, it was like having the sun with me. I can't say anything bad about this light.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brigh enough Pretty nice light. A bit heavier than expected, but very solid and with 3 o-rings to avoid flooding. The button control is not too friendly to power on or off, but on an overall it is a good light. Tested in 5 deep dives without problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic diving light I was amazed by the quality of the lighting, at any depth, tested from 35 to 125 ft, I like the fact that you have 3 intensity settings. The only downside is the battery life, so make sure to turn off the lights if there are not needed during the dive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Appears to be a great light I have yet to use this underwater, but the intensity is better than any of my previous dive lights. I intend to us it as both a video assist light and a focus light. It is a bit heavier than I had intitially thought, but not objectionable.
