You can capture beautiful images of parrot fish, moray eels, and coral reefs at depths as great as 197', thanks to Nimar's dedicated Underwater Housing for your Canon EOS Rebel XT DSLR camera, a.k.a. the 350D. The enclosure features a moisture alarm that alerts you in the unlikely event of a breach in the waterproof seal. A manual, 5-pin Nikonos connector enables the attachment of optional external strobes via sync cords. As an alternative, the camera's built-in flash can trigger strobes via cables connected to the housing's dual fiber-optic ports.

Mechanical controls afford access to most camera functions, while dual ergonomic grips improve handling and provide attachment points for lighting arms. Additionally, a removable eyepiece with 1.5x magnification enhances your view when you're composing shots through the camera's finder. The housing ships without a required lens port, and accepts interchangeable bayonet-mount ports for various lenses. For complete compatibility details, see the list below.

Built for durability, the housing is constructed from corrosion-resistant Bayer Makrolon polycarbonate, which is clear to allow you to monitor the O-ring seal and maintain a full view of the camera. It also features stainless steel latches with safety clips to ensure a secure closure.
