I use the Sony A77 with a 1.4 TC and 70=-400mm SSMII lens, my question is if I use a mono pod should I remove the anti-shake from the camera's menu or should I not worry about it? Thanx

Yes the Steady Shot in the camera should be turned off when using a monopod to support the A77 and your lens/TC to avoid any undesirable effects.

To use the Sony 70-400mm f/4-5.6 G SSM II Lens which has a Sony A mount on the Sony A7R which has a Sony E mount, the Sony A-Mount to E-Mount Lens Adapter with Translucent Mirror Technology (Black), B&H# SOLAEA4 would be needed. https://bhpho.to/2kgmMYR
