The Sony 65" XBR-65X900A X900 4K Ultra HD 3D Internet TV features a 2D/3D LCD panel with 4K 3840 x 2160 resolution and Dynamic Edge LED Backlight technology that enhances contrast and reproduces images with sharp clarity. The Ultra HD TV also features built-in Wi-Fi, Ethernet connectivity, Miracast wireless mirroring and Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL). With Wi-Fi, you can stream a variety of Internet content from the Sony Entertainment Network, as well as DLNA home network content. Miracast, MHL and NFC technologies allow you to connect your compatible mobile device to the TV, so you can mirror your mobile media on the TV's big 4K screen.
Besides Dynamic Edge LED Backlight technology, the X900 is also equipped with a 4K X-Reality PRO chip that not only enhances images by analyzing and refining them, it actually supports upscaling to 4K Ultra HD resolution. Plus, Motionflow XR 960 technology ensures fast-paced action movies and sports are blur-free and more natural looking. This TV even provides SimulView dual full screen gaming for Playstaion3. Four pairs of passive 3D glasses are also included. Other video features include an Advanced Contrast Enhancer (ACE), 24P True Cinema mode, Live Color technology and TRILUMINOS Display technology for more vivid colors and a heightened sense of depth.
The TV's audio features are equally impressive. It supports Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Pulse and Simulated Surround. Sony also uses their S-Force Front Surround 3D technology, which processes audio signals to create an immersive and detailed soundstage no matter where you're sitting in the room. The TV's speaker system features a 65W 2.2-channel setup with dual 2-way magnetic fluid speakers and dual subwoofers. For connectivity, the X900 is equipped with four HDMI inputs, a shared component/composite video input, three USB 2.0 ports, a digital audio output and more. The TV's USB 2.0 ports act as a built-in media player, allowing you to plug in a USB memory device and enjoy a wide variety of video, audio and photo file formats on the big screen.
The X900 TV works with Sony's SideView app as well, which allows you to use your iOS or Android mobile device as a remote controller for the TV. You can also use the SideView app with your mobile device to search for programs and content.
