Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for the money. This was much cheaper than the name brand, which was beyond my price range. It has been working well, though I have had some issues which I may or may not have had with the name brand, I really don't know. When I remove the adapter from my camera, it does not pop out like a normal battery does, I have to pull it out. Also, I've had some camera over heating issues. I know my camera has had overheating issues on battery, but it feels like they are happening a bit quicker with the adapter; but that might happen with any ac adapter. (I use the camera for video much more than photos)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Killed my Camera I bought this for my Canon 70D after another 3rd party AC adapter stopped working. The first time I tried this, after about 20 minutes, my camera lost power. I wasn't able to get the adapter working again, so I tried a battery, but the camera wouldn't power up at all - even with the Canon battery. Now my Camera is on its way to Canon for repair. What exactly happened? I don't know, but it looks like this adapter killed the camera and it will probably cost me >$.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must for any video DSLR users If your camera dies while recording, you may loose your take or corrupt the card. With this your camera will never shot down again because of a dead battery. Perfect for interview set ups or studio work. Another plus: the battery adapter part is a separate detachable cable that connects to the AC adapter using a barrel cable connection. I guess you could hook it up to another power source other than the AC adapter using a barrel adapter. AC adpater outputs 9V 2A.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Edit to previous review I initially posted a less positive review on using this with my 6D until I realized the batter compartment has a trap door to let the cable out of so the door can close and engage the safety lock. Thing works great just as the previous one did for my crop camera. At a fraction of the price of a Canon brand adapter, this thing is worth while if you do a lot of long period/exposure shooting or time-lapse. Have only used it for general testing and no issues so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Performs Well It works. It's always in my location kit - one day both my batteries were DOA and waiting for recharging was emabarrasing. Never again with this! Plug and play - please notice that the Canon 5D MKII has a little 'trap door' built into the rubber body wrapper that allows the cord out so the battery cover can close. Make sure you look carefully for it before forcing anything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! Wow! What a bargain! This works perfectly with my Canon 5D mk III and costs WAY less than the Canon brand equivalent. I've used the unit lots of times for 12+ hours on each occasion to photograph wildlife remotely, without any problems. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still working great after a year I use it for Video with my 70D. I can let the Camera stay on longer and not worry about the battery or constantly having to waking-up the camera. The camera stays much cooler and so there is less noise even after shooting for 2 hours strait.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought two and return them after one failed I bought two of these for a video shoot, I opened the first package and tried the power supply. No good. I tried 3 different outlets, and 2 different cameras without any luck. I returned them.
