AC-EL15 AC Adapter and DC Coupler Kit is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works for 1/3 the price Normally the battery in my D7000 will last several days of heavy shooting. I purchased this after determining the live view in the program DSLRPhotoBooth would run the camera battery flat in about two hours. I was doing a charity photo booth over two days so this was the perfect solution. I plugged it in and it worked and continued to work throughout the event. The connector on a pigtail that allows the camera to disconnect from the brick without removing the battery simulator is really handy. You can put the camera in it's case with the simulator instead of a battery. The AC cord is a little bit short, but I had an extension cord so things worked well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from AC-EL15 AC Adapter and DC Coupler Kit As an electronics engineer, I evaluated this adapter for use with my D800, D800E and 1V1 cameras. I made comparative measurements vs the Nikon EH-5a plus associated EP-5b.While the Power2000 solution is based on a slightly inferior power unit with a DC cable whose wire gauge is marginal (considering the high surge currents that occur while the mirror and shutter motors are being driven) the device is entirely adequate for the job.I will use the Nikon and Power2000 equivalents, interchangeably

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Alternative to Nikon d800 power adapter I got this so I can run my D800 to video music concerts and plays. With the price being 1/2 the price of the Nikon one, I thought I would give it a try.So far I've only used it once and it was OK but not great. The connector between the power cable and the battery adapter doesn't hold tight and comes loose easily. Also, the cord on the battery adapter is big enough the battery door will not close.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as advertised The product worked flawlessly. I am considering buying additional units for other Nikon bodies. Much better value than the manufacturer's equipment. The piece that fits into the battery compartment felt light weight but I have no idea how that compares to the Nikon version

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Adapter provides long-term power. This AC power supply allows me to set up for long term macro time-lapse work without worrying about power loss due to dead batteries. I like the ability to shoot long term without worrying about the batteries. The one drawback for me is that it fits into the battery slot in the bottom of the camera rather than plugging into the camera body. This requires me to remove the secondary base/ battery holder when I need to use it. Other than this, it does the job, and at the low price, is well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from inexpensive alternative This is a nice inexpensive alternative to the siginificantly higher priced Nikon unit

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Save Your Batteries for the Field I purchased this adapter about six months ago to use in my product photo studio with a Nikon D800. As you can see attached photo the adapter is attached via velcro and bungee cords to studio camera stand. This set up works surprisingly well and saves from switching out batteries continuously. My camera is tethered to a computer and does drain the battery quickly when not using the adapter. I am very pleased with this unit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So far so good to me Bought this for a D600. It powers on the camera without issue. The connection between the dummy battery and the ac adapter easy to come off when using on the tripod. I used glue to bond it together permanently so it won't come off in the future.
