The Power2000 AC-EL15 AC Adapter and DC Coupler Kit is a replacement for the Nikon EP-5B DC coupler and includes an AC adapter to enable continuous, direct power from an AC power source. This allows use of a camera for extended periods of time without draining the camera's battery.

This AC adapter and DC coupler kit is compatible with the Nikon D800, D600, D7100, D7000, and 1 V1 cameras.

NOT RECOMMENDED Bought to use with Nikon D810 (EN-EL 15 battery).  Yes I can see on the packaging that a D800 is a compatible (D810 not mentioned but uses the same physical (EN-EL15 battery). The camera doesn’t power up at all using the dummy battery. (Side note: went to Amazon, bought EP-5B dummy battery and used it with the ‘Power2000’ AC/DC converter - bingo it worked) The fit between the converter and the enclosed dummy battery is horrible (sloppy loose). Side note, the Power2000 converter (minus the dummy battery) does fit (albeit loosely) into and work with a Nikon D300s. MY OPINION—DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Yes, the D500 takes an enel15 battery, so yes it will fit.

The "customer photo" shows a connector into the side of the camera, but the reviews seem to say that there is a battery-shaped fitting that goes inside the camera. which is it? Thanks

The Power2000 AC-EL15 AC Adapter and DC Coupler Kit features a "dummy battery" that goes into the normal battery insert. The connector into the side of the camera, that appears in the "customer photo" is a totally separate connector for tethering as the customer explains," My camera is tethered to a computer".

The device works by fitting in the EL-14/15 battery compartment of your body and the d7500 takes those batteries. i use it in a d500, but see no reason it will not work with your body. Remember that the power cord sticks out of the bottom so you have to use it on something like a tripod -- not a flat surface -- when connected. It would be tedious but i suppose you could hand-hold it too. This thing works but is not a high quality unit; fine for my use though.

It has not been tested by Nikon or Power2000. It technically should work. But there can be some compatibility issues. Best would be to use the two parts from Nikon, https://bhpho.to/3x8KWok .

The Z7 uses EN-EL15b style batteries. This AC Adapter and DC Coupler Kit should work well with that camera.
