What is the distance limitation when used between rooms in a building? We need a wireless speaker system to send sound to a different room in a small church without running more wire.

question

It says it's 610-640mhz..isnt' that illegal freq range now?
Asked by: christopher p.
This frequency range is not illegal right now but is scheduled to become illegal with in the next 1-2 years. The 600 megahertz frequencies are being reserved by the FCC for use by a cellular phone company. If the units you buy are in this range you will be limited to the length of time you would be able to use them before facing possible fines by the FCC.

question

Since it's a dual transmitter and has two inputs, could I send my main mix through one (input) channel and my monitor mix through the other (input) channel simultaneously on different frequencies?
Asked by: Perry N.
The Alto Stealth is only capable of transmitting on one frequency at a time. The receivers need to be set to the same frequency to communicate. In stereo mode, you can send an independent mono audio feed to each input on the transmitter, but not what the system was intended for.

question

One last question I'm almost convinced,I have 2 subs that i used during my gigs and the subs are on the floor with a crowd how does this affect the signal? is there any cut out?
Asked by: Anonymous
With UHF wireless systems, it is important to have as clean a signal path (line of sight) as possible from the transmitter to the receiver. Any blockage (walls, people, etc) could potentially create interference.
